BIOGRAPHY
Ness started out when the band Pool (swe) found themselves without a singer. The remaining members refused to give up and so Ness was formed and a replacement singer was found.
With the change in line-up, it followed that there would be a change in direction. The band started to sing in English, and focused on combining heavy guitars with catchy melodies. The result was a perfect mix of pop and rock music.
Their first demo was reviewed favourably by Dead Frog Records in 2001. Following the release of the second demo in 2002, talks with Dead Frog intensified, leading to the release of a 3-track promo, with Dead Frogs frontman, Peter Åstedt, as co-producer.
In August 2002, Ness signed with Dead Frog Records, and the following month began recording their debut album.
The album, In the Cold Light of Day, will be released on 17 September 2003. |
